According to a news piece I read earlier, Tennessee has passed a bill to make drunk drivers pay child support if they kill a minor child’s parents. I personally can see the value of the bill, and support it. With that said, what do my readers think?
I support the bill because by killing the child’s parents, they rob the child not ONLY of the relationship w/said parents, but of the support the parent(s) would have given, had they been here to do so. I’m actually surprised that a law such as this wasn’t already passed ages ago.
Hoping other States follow Tennessee’s lead.
