Notes On Hal Ketchum
Presently, I am listening to the silver voice of the late Hal Ketchum. This isn’t a post reviewing his music, though there is certainly plenty I could review from his storied career.
I miss him as a poet, even if he never sang a note, I’d still feel that way. He was a poet in the classic sense, he wrote to make people feel something worthwhile, not just to entertain.
There are many fellow poets I’d love the chance to write with, Hal would certainly be on that list if he were still here with us.
