A.M. Notes

Good morning, Dear readers

It’s about 5: 30 a.m. here. I’m thinking about new art ideas (if anyone has some, I’d greatly appreciate any input.)

My wife is going to help her mother out with some things later, and the plan for me is to get in some quality one on one time with my son.

I am presently watching a movie, and dealing with a mild headache. I’m hoping it passes quick.

Yesterday, I bought my son a light saber toy set. When it comes in I know we’ll have a lot of fun with it. I’m 36 years old, but hanging out with him makes me feel like a kid all over again.

Additional Morning Notes

Courtney and I were out and about this morning. We went to breakfast. Getting out in the snowy weather was a bit difficult for me b/c of muscle issues.

Anyway, there were emergency services vehicles at our apartment compound earlier, fire engines and an ambulance. I’m not sure why. They were arriving as we were leaving.

Dear Readers

I have been reading that certain of my connections have had their abilities to like new posts and follow new blogs revoked altogether.

According to what I’ve read, this isn’t a glitch, but an intentional thing by the platform.

I do not support such an action, and thus feel the need to speak up.

New Notes

Hello friends,

I’m writing this while watching an art documentary. I spent most of the evening creating fresh pieces. Other than that, I took my wife and son on an outing on our town square. It was very relaxing.

The only downside was how cold it was outside, but given that we live in Idaho, I can’t even pretend to be shocked. Anyway, I hope that whenever (and wherever) you happen to find yourself reading this, that you are warm and well. ❤️❤️❤️

Miscellaneous Notes

Yesterday, we got the release form filled out and signed for my son’s teacher to talk to the neurologist. It wasn’t as complicated as I thought it might be.

I thought it was going to be a load of paperwork.

I will say it’s a load off my mind though (and the release form is viable for the rest of the school year, so we don’t need to renew it.)

Anyway, in other notes, today has mostly been good, minus some frustration this morning. Hope your day has been excellent. ♥️♥️♥️ I’ll go ahead and wrap this up for now.

Eli’s Latest Medical News (and Some Other Brief Notes)

Yesterday was a long day. We ended up going to Boise to the pediatric neurology clinic there (instead of Salt Lake.)

They said they don’t want to rush to put Eli on anti-seizure medication, that they want us just to keep tabs on him, and that the latest imaging study came back normal.

The person that saw Eli @ the clinic wants to talk to his teacher from school, since that’s where both seizures took place.

She told us just to make follow-up appointments as needed.

In other notes: We ended up taking a shuttle van up, and the driver was an awesome woman named Leona. She paid out of her own pocket for our lunch and snacks.

Paying Off In Spades

Hello Dear Ones.

I have begun sharing my art on yet ànother website. I never (or at least rarely ever) turn down an opportunity to showcase these days, and it’s paying off in spades, as the saying goes.

Seeing the direction that 2023 is already taking in regards to my art, I continue to be epically thrilled, and it’s barely January.

Early A.M. Notes

Good morning everyone,

It’s a bit after midnight, but I’m wide awake so decided to write some. Presently I am watching “Shattered Glass” on the Roku. Still (years after first watch) one of my favorite journalism films of all time.

Last night, I was hanging out with Courtney and Eli.

We played UNO Attack (again) and had dinner and hot chocolate. I’ll be starting back on an L.C. diet later today. Part of my new year’s resolutions.
