Short Notes On Sheep Shearing

After seeing a video on a video sharing site, regarding sheep shearing, I decided to look more into it. Shearing has been around for ages, and as I understand it, modern shearing methods & technology are generally safe for the sheep, though no technology or method is perfect of course.

Human error (or technical malfunction) can cause accidents & injury, but the benefits (to humans, in regards to resources, and sheep themselves in regards to health & wellness) are well known to outweigh the risks. I would never advise anyone without proper training shear a sheep, at least not without professional supervision.

This of course is common sense.

Science and the Fountain of Youth

I recently read about scientific breakthroughs, therapy meant for age reversal. People have been searching for ages for the “fountain of youth” so I take these claims with a grain of salt, but nonetheless I did find it interesting at least.

I came across the information on another blog. On a similar topic, while science can be a wonderful tool, it’s a tool we should be careful with.

Advanced as we may think we are, we are not God.

I recently read about the California Poppy, there are people who swear it treats everything from anxiety to insomnia. I would however advise consulting a doctor before consuming it in any way, as a safety precaution.
