Hello again, Dear Ones.
I hope your day has been a great one. My son had a field trip to the planetarium today. We got some wonderful,much needed rain as well.
Overall, it’s been a great, albeit somewhat quiet day where I am. I have some fresh art I’ll be sharing to my niche art blog shortly.
I found out that the painter Bob Ross is said to have created 30,000 paintings before his mid 1990’s death. That’s a STUNNING amount of work for any artist, and note that’s WITHOUT all the modern tools at artists disposal.
If he really did create that amount of work, I have an even greater respect for him than I did previously.
We had a couple power outages earlier, here where I am. I’m not sure what caused them this time, though in the past it’s often been weather related.
I’m just glad everything is in working order again. In other notes, I’ve been taking a brief break from my niche art blog, but I will return to it shortly.
Going to be sharing some of my most recent completed projects there when I do return. I created a couple things for something called Wildlife Wednesday, so looking forward to actually posting them.
Made a coloring sheet for my son, might print it up on a large laminated paper, then he can color it repeatedly however he wants with washable markers.
It’s okay to be INTERESTED in things like art, music, etc. Anyone who knows me knows I have a passion for such things.
They are beautiful things, wonderful gifts, but we should never let such things become idols in our lives.
I write this as a reminder to myself as much as any readers.

I’ve also had a highly productive day in general.
My wife and son hung out with me this morning, but now they are off spending time with extended family.

Today is a fairly good day, despite me not feeling the greatest (my family has had a cold going round.)
If you follow my art blog, you know I did an elephant art piece for a connection/fan recently.
Even with all the digital tools available to me, it took a fair bit of time, but it was well spent for the results I got. I won’t be sharing a lot today, because I’m going to focus on recovering from my cold.
I’ll get back to sharing everywhere as soon as I’m up for it.

It’s about 5: 30 a.m. here. I’m thinking about new art ideas (if anyone has some, I’d greatly appreciate any input.)
My wife is going to help her mother out with some things later, and the plan for me is to get in some quality one on one time with my son.
I am presently watching a movie, and dealing with a mild headache. I’m hoping it passes quick.
Yesterday, I bought my son a light saber toy set. When it comes in I know we’ll have a lot of fun with it. I’m 36 years old, but hanging out with him makes me feel like a kid all over again.

What’s going on with you all? I was on a roll with creating yesterday. I don’t think I’ll ever stop unless my eyesight goes entirely or something otherwise catastrophic happens.
Presently, I’m watching scifi, later tonight my mom and I are planning a Bible study together. I’ve been looking forward to that.
Beyond that, I don’t know yet what today will look like, but I’m excited to find out.

I’m writing this while watching an art documentary. I spent most of the evening creating fresh pieces. Other than that, I took my wife and son on an outing on our town square. It was very relaxing.
The only downside was how cold it was outside, but given that we live in Idaho, I can’t even pretend to be shocked. Anyway, I hope that whenever (and wherever) you happen to find yourself reading this, that you are warm and well. ❤️❤️❤️
