My fellow Americans,
As we go about this Memorial Day, let us remember who & what it’s truly about. Those who have sacrificed their lives in service to our country. People from all over the political spectrum have given that sacrifice, and we should honor them. They sacrificed for the COLLECTIVE, not just those of their particular party.
I fully support immigrants who come to my country through legal means and respect America’s sovereignty. However, I do not support ILLEGAL immigration (which is tantamount to breaking into the country.)
Rewarding illegal immigration just encourages more of it, and teaches those doing it that ignoring/undermining America’s laws is acceptable.
I cannot stand how much it’s often claimed that America is a fundamentally racist country. The claim is absurd, and those spouting it are either ignorant or willfully deceptive, often with political motives.
The vast majority of Americans are NOT racist, despite the narratives that demonize them as such.
Furthermore, defending oneself against accusations of racism, is not itself racist. It’s actually a reasonable response when someone is smeared as allegedly racist, for said person TO defend themselves.
