John F. Nash, Genius and Madness

Imagination is generally a great gift, a lot of creativity can come from the exercise of it, but in many mental illnesses, like schizophrenia, the imagination can be crippling instead of beneficial.

I write on this topic because J.F. Nash, an otherwise often brilliant man, was plagued with it, until the latest part of his life, where he actually recovered.
